Our Mission
The purpose of the Mankato Area Growers’ Association is to create, promote, and operate a farmers’ market within the Mankato area that provides area producers a place to sell their handmade and homegrown products.
The market offers the community a wide variety of fresh, local products and strives to provide a space for people to gather on a regular basis in order to share good food, music, laughter and friends.

What’s “in season”?
It can be daunting and confusing at times to know what’s “in season” because many folks are accustomed to everything being available at the grocery store, regardless of its natural growing season. The beauty of shopping at your local farmers’ market is that the produce you’re eating is seasonal and harvested at peak freshness, meaning more quality and flavor for you!
